Forensic Chiropractic Peer and/or Diagnostic Review:
Review of the documents...
- By appropriate Certified Independent Forensic Chiropractic Medical Examiner. (CIFCME)
- HCFA billing compared to services annotated
- Independent report of indicated and non-indicated procedures (CPT billing)
- Perform File Management as requested:
- Arrange file in proper sequential order
- Indexed reference file prepared
- Forensic medical records examination
- Determine inconsistencies of document
- Prepare CPT & ICD-9 codes by dates and providers
- Prepare summary and conclusion of forensic chiropractic analysis

Forensic Chiropractic Review of Diagnostic Procedures:
- Was the procedure billed performed (must include all medical files, film studies, copies and interpretations)?
- Was the procedure performed utilizing the appropriate evidence based references and protocols?
