The Commission on Independent Forensic Chiropractic Medical Examiner Certification(CIFCMEC) is the examining and certifying body for examiners, scientists, and professionals involved in forensic analysis and evaluation in a number of fields. One of the specialty fields is Forensic Chiropractic. The term Forensic Chiropractor refers to the chiropractic professional who performs an orderly analysis, investigation, inquiry, test, inspection, and examination in an attempt to obtain the truth and from which to render an expert opinion.
The Certified Independent Forensic Chiropractic Medical Examiner (CIFCME) is an individual who not only completes the necessary course work specializing in chiropractic forensics from an accredited institution but also completes the advanced core requirements and passes a rigorous certifying examination.
